The A3 scholarship program advances its mission to enhance expertise and knowledge within the avalanche industry. Through partnerships with industry leaders and donors, A3 is committed to making professional avalanche training more accessible to its members.
For the 2024-2025 season, multiple scholarship opportunities are available, and applications are now open

 

Mountain Foundation

Interested in attending this event, but can't afford it? Mountain Foundation scholarships are available to all employees of NSAA member ski areas, associations and affiliated members. Scholarships can assist in covering the registration and travel costs for select industry events.

 

Darren Johnson Avalanche Education Scholarship

The Darren Johnson Avalanche Education Memorial Fund is committed to supporting patrollers who seek to further their education. This scholarship aims to alleviate the costs associated with continuing education courses. Finalists selected for the scholarship will be required to participate in a brief Zoom interview with the committee to discuss their passion for the industry and how the course will benefit them both professionally and personally. This application is for ski patrollers interested in attending the National Avalanche School 

 

National Ski Patrol

Are you an active NSP patroller? Scholarships to the National Avalanche School are available to all active NSP member patrollers who need comprehensive professional avalanche training. Scholarships can assist in covering registration and travel costs for the event.
